"The King of Fighters" (KOF) was first released as a 2D fighting game for arcades in 1994. For more than a decade, it has been very popular among gaming fans all over the globe, with some 3.5 million copies the game series shipped to all continents. KOF was made into an authentic high-quality anime to meet intense fan demand. "The King of Fighters: Another Day" is a direct-to-video miniseries which illustrates the world view of the KOF universe. It was produced preceding the spring 2006 release of PlayStation 2 game software "The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 2."
