Welcome to the Hanna-Barbera Productions Cartoon Information page. After a successful career at MGM, Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera open their own studio and single-highhandedly invent the TV cartoon show format. Through their many years, Hanna and Barbera collected seven Oscars, eight Emmys and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Creating more than 1000 cartoon characters, Hanna-Barbera Productions remained the driving force in Saturday Morning television into the 90's.
