Australian Film TV and Radio School

The school is focused on continuing to nurture and launch the careers of the next generation of Australian screen storytellers and audiovisual practitioners. Created in 1972 by the Australian Government as a key strategy in the revival of the Australian film industry, AFTRS is the only institution of its kind in the nation - with professional, industry standard, film, television, radio and production facilities all under one roof and a curriculum that spans all of the specialist areas that comprise this exciting and dynamic sector.
