I'm probably mellowing too much as I get older, but I'm FINALLY willing to extend the unbroken string of great Bugs-Yosemite encounters (1945-52) to include this film.......what got me in my most recent viewing was the number of time Bugs...  (read more)

Interestingly, Here in England, the Boomerang channel have just broadcast this cartoon and included the 'blackface' scene in full. I wonder if this was a mistake?

It's too bad that Virgil Ross did some of his best work in the scene where Bugs does blackface. All the P.C. Nazis would like to rip that scene out and burn it. However, that still doesn't stop it from being a great...  (read more)
