Cartoon Summary:

On leave in Argentina, Popeye refuses to attend the bullfight on ethical grounds. It's "cruelty to aminals." But when he gets a load of "Senorita Olive Oyl," he can't resist trying to win her heart. While chasing her, he accidentally gets thrown into the bullring and becomes a toreador. Popeye doesn't want to hurt the bull, while the beast continues to pummel the sailor man. The bull's behavior (which other bulls cheer) challenges Popeye's conviction about not harming the "aminal," but when Olive is in trouble, he acts. However, he uses no more force on the bull than is needed, and they become friends instead of the usual transformation into cuts of meat hanging in a butcher shop.
