Cartoon Summary:
In a parody of "Dragnet", Joe Friday-style detective Tommy Tortoise tracks down Moe Hare, who just escaped from prison. Tommy pursues Moe to the bitter end in order to bring him back. Moe hops a freight, and Tommy is on top of the train turning on the brake. When the train is loaded with explosives, Moe fires them off and escapes in a fast car. The car reaches 200 miles per hour, but Tommy is still in the rear-view mirror... actually, he's on the back of a car. Moe hops on a plane and parachutes into the desert. He sees an oasis and tries to get a drink. It's actually a movie screen, with Tommy showing a film of an oasis. Moe gives up.
