Cartoon Comments:
Midnight Frolics
Cartoon Charlie
Reviewed by: Charlie,
After seeing it just once, and starting it for the second time, Midnight Frolics is a great feature cartoon. You enter the haunted house and watch the frivolities, including some great organ playing, and various characters being shocked out of their wits. The transparent ghosts have a wide range of emotions, from mock sadness to playful glee and they break into song at the least provocation with terrific results. I tried to find the song "The Boradora Girls" online, which features wonderful harmony. They really knew how to have fun in 1938!
