Bosko goes to kill a tree but decides to play musi

Reviewed by: constiffs,

This seventh Looney Tune of 1931 has Bosko going to cut down a tree but it comes to life and pleads for its life, surrounding itself with "baby" trees. Surreal, amusing, musical number of an ode to trees, there's even some "saucy" dancing done for the amusement of adults. Nothing particularly original occurs here, though.

Yeah. Not a big fan of the plotless cartoons myself.

The Tree's Knees 6 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Matthew Hunter,

There is no point to this cartoon, in short, it sucks! The whole basis of this cartoon is Bosko making music with and on trees, with the little cute animals chiming in. If you want to watch a Bosko cartoon, and believe me, Bosko was in some real classics, *DONT* watch this one! Only for the WB completist.
