I've been looking everywhere for a vhs copy of this-don't know that it was ever put on DVD. We need it for our animation library at the university.

Time to bring this classic back on DVD.

This is not your typical cartoon. The animation can be trippy at times and a few too many songs, but lot's of bizarre and fun characters. This movie was aimed towards kids, and when I first saw it as a kid during it's inital release, a lot of the underling points were missed. Now as an adult, I look back and understand the messages the movie was trying to instill on kids. Being nice to people, the value of friendship, and value of a good laugh to name a few. The biggest problem of the movie seems to be the incredibly sachrin songs interlaced in the story. But, not much different than many other cartoon movies. Time to bring this classic back on DVD.
