Working title "What's Cookin'?." Many sources incorrectly list "What's Cookin'?" as this film's actual title.

Model sheets referred to the cat in this short as "Korny Kat."

The copyright on this cartoon was not renewed in 1966. Thus, it is the only Woody Woodpecker cartoon to be in the public domain.

Mel Blanc's last cartoon for Universal Pictures, made just before he signed an exclusive deal with Warner Bros. It was the last time that Blanc would voice Woody. Writer and gagman Ben Hardaway would become Woody's new voice, beginning in 1942.
