Cartoon Production Information:

An apparent parody of the Fleischer/Famous Studios "Superman" cartoons. The origin is also reminiscent of Super Mouse (later to become Mighty Mouse) eating cheese in his first cartoon, "The Mouse of Tomorrow" (1942).

Bugs' scientific name is "Rabbitus Idiotus Americanus."

Another WB cartoon to cast a major character as a superhero would feature Daffy Duck as "Stupor Duck" (1956).
