Cartoon Production Information:

The original opening credits for I Love Lucy were animated stick figures of Lucy and Desi. William Hanna and Joseph Barbera made the deal with Desilu in secret because the powers that be at MGM looked down so much on television. When the original show ended in 1957, Hanna-Barbera made a new credits for the hour-long The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show specials.
