I'll probably do a bit of reminiscing on tonight's
show. I can remember the Saturday-morning cartoon wars of my
youth like they were yesterday. My brothers and I, still in
pajamas, would sit in front of the TV with cereal bowls in
hand, constantly yelling. My brothers would always torture me.
I wanted to watch "The Smurfs," they wanted to watch
"Transformers." Somehow we always ended up beating each other
up until my mom came in and made us watch both.
Looking back, I'm glad I have the wide cartoon knowledge
that I have. To help you gain the same knowledge -- minus the
beating -- I bring you tonight's Site of the Nite.
The Big Cartoon DataBase
has information about more than 25,000 cartoon episodes. The
site is organized by studio and series. You can select from a
full menu of cartoons to learn more, like who was involved in
creating an episode, as well as its running time, episode
number, and plot synopsis.
