Academy Award winning, Pascal Blais Studio is a full-service 360° production company located in picturesque Old-Montreal. While the Studio's focus is primarily commercial animation production, in 1996 they produced a 24min. animated short entitled La Vieille Dame Et Les Pigeons (The Old Lady and the Pigeons). This film was nominated for an Oscar and the winner of numerous prestigious international awards including a BAFTA in the UK, The Gemini, and the Grand Prize in Annecy, France.

In 1999, this film was followed up by another more celebrated short: The Old Man and the Sea, directed by long-time friend and multi-award winning director Alexandr Petrov. This film won the Oscar in 2000 being Petrov’s fourth nomination and first win. This film was very highly regarded internationally (and with the Hemmingway family) and to this day is heralded as one of the most artistic interpretations of his literature.

At present, Pascal Blais Studio continues to produce TV commercials and interactive media solutions for their clients around the world while developing original content for TV and film production.
