Founded by producer R.K. Maroon in 1935, the studio was known more for it's high-energy, Tex Avery-style cartoons. Popular characters include Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit and Baby Herman, all from the popular animated series "Maroon Cartoons".
The studio closed in 1948 when studio head Maroon suffered a heart attack at the Moviola in his office.
