Marvel Productions Ltd. was a television and motion picture studio division of Marvel Comics, based in Hollywood, California. Originally formed as an animation studio from DePatie-Freleng Enterprises. The company went bankrupt in 1997, and was eventually acquired by Saban Entertainment. Saban's interests were eventually bought by The Walt Disney Company, who now own most Marvel animated programs produced during the 1980s and 1990s, including all the shows produced by DePatie-Freleng.
