Little Rascals Color Specials Episode Guide -King Record
In 1966, King World Productions purchased the rights to the non-MGM Our Gang shorts from Hal Roach. Charles King of King Features Syndicate decided to update the image of the Little Rascals (as they were known in TV syndication) with color to capture a younger audience. The company hired someone (possibly Art Clokey) to refilm five episodes in stop-motion clay animation. The episodes were synchronized with the original soundtracks. Although five shorts were produced, they were never released commercially. However, they have surfaced on video.
