Eleven-year-old Hunter Steele finds himself displaced from the comforts of home and thrown into the World of Arachna, deep inside an ancient pyramid. In this new world, Hunter is almost killed by a giant, talking spider known as Shadow, but the unlikely pair are forced to team up to combat the Invectid forces of the evil Mantid. Hunter is welcomed by an elite warrior team, The Spider Riders, and together with his new friends and 10-foot-tall Battle Spider, he must learn to navigate this unfamiliar inner world and fight the evil Invectids.
