Pooh always wonders why Eeyore seems so sad. It's Eeyore's birthday, but he is sad because he has no presents, or cake with pink sugar frosting, or candles. So, Pooh gives him a "useful pot", for putting things in, with "Happy Birthday with love from Pooh" on it, and Piglet gives him a popped balloon to put in the pot. It turns out to be a wonderful day for Eeyore.
