Cartoon Synopsis:
Joe Petit Boum-Boum, having saved a beehive, is invited by Reine Fleur de Miel 145 (Queen Honey Flower 145) to visit her kingdom. Bzz, the Queen's favorite counselor, having reduced Joe to the size of a bee, becomes his friend and is invited to the ants' carnival party.
In the early morning, after an enchanted evening, Joe Petit Boum-Boum and Bzz find the hive all astir. A honey thief has gotten into the hive and ravaged everything in his path. The harvest would be lost without Petit Boum-Boum's intervention. As a reward, the Queen names him godfather of the next generation of bees (numbering 2,000).
Paying a visit to Joe's hive, Bzz sees worker bees at work and visits the honey reserve, but accidentally falls in the nectar. He's pulled out by the Queen's firemen, during which a necklace is stolen. The necklace is an essential talisman without which the hive is threatened by major misfortune.
Wou kidnaps the Queen. Wou and his band seem to prevail when Joe pours on them the hive's whole stock of honey, in which they become trapped. The harvest is lost, but the Queen is saved.
A big party is organized in honor of Joe, who leaves his friends the bees with regret.
