Cartoon Synopsis:

When God distributed wisdom and folly through a newly-created world, one of the cherubs accidentally dropped all the folly on a tiny village called Chelm. So everyone in the village is very dumb. Aaron, a recently orphaned boy about 10 years old, and his friendly old goat Zlateh, go there to live with Aaron's uncle Shlemiel and aunt Sarah. He soon realizes that this town and its inhabitants are strange, behaving in an insane (and often stupid) manner. This peculiarity would be rather likable if the residents weren't threatened by an evil sorcerer bent on seizing the town's secret: the secret of the manufacture of the Golem, a clay-and-water monster, who can annihilate the world if he isn't destroyed. When the sorcerer and the Golem attack the village, Aaron and Zlateh have to defend it themselves.
