Cartoon Synopsis:

Augie and his dad have just finished dinner and Doggie Daddy offers Augie some cheese for dessert. A mouse hears the word cheese and he flies in and grabs it. The mouse takes it and eats it in the bread box. He acts like he falls asleep and starts sleepwalking. Augie checks and the mouse fools him into believing that he is actually sleepwalking. The mouse starts eating more cheese and Doggie Daddy traps him on his hand with a glass. The mouse uses a pin and pokes Doggie Daddy in the hand to escape.

Doggie Daddy tries to grab the mouse and says he will squish him. The mouse takes a tomato and lets the dad grab it and squish the tomato. He thinks that he got the mouse and feels guilty. The mouse comes out with a sheet on and the dad gives him some cheese. The mouse pops out and shows that he fooled them again. The dad then tries a gun, a bowling ball, and another trap with Augie and they all fail with the dad getting the worst of it.

Augie whispers something to his dad and they agree to try it. They act like they will never have any more cheese and the mouse puts a "For Rent" sign on his hole and walks out with a suitcase.

Doggie Daddy offers Augie some cheese and they open the lid to find the mouse who has almost eaten all of it.
