Cartoon Synopsis:

Doggie Daddy hears Augie making sounds like an owl and goes to see what is going on. Augie is talking to an owl and the owl leaves before his pop get there. Doggie Daddy asks Augie why he isn't studying for his nature course and Augie says that he is learning from the animals. Doggie Daddy doesn't believe him and they go camping so he can teach Augie about nature.

On the way, they see a duck and Doggie Daddy says that the duck is headed South for the Winter. Augie quacks like the duck and talks to him and it flies off. Doggie Daddy asks Augie what he was doing and Augie tells him that the duck was flying the wrong way.

They get to woods and Doggie Daddy tries to show Augie how to make a fire using sticks and Augie tells him that he is doing it the wrong way and he tries it and makes a fire. Doggie Daddy then tries to get some honey but winds up making the bees mad and they sting and chase him. Augie talks to the bees and they leave his dad alone. Doggie Daddy then tries to catch a wild animal and he does. He thinks that he accidentally caught a cat, but it's really a skunk and he gets sprayed. He can't ride in the car like that and Augie can't drive. Augie comes up with a solution. A bear drives them home, Yogi Bear that is.
