It's a dark and stormy night. Jerry wanders ahead of Tom into an abandoned country house. Suddenly, its roof bursts. Tom, believing that it fell on Jerry, mourns his small friend. Meanwhile, Jerry comes face to face with a bat that looks just like him. Together, they team up and trick Tom into thinking that the bat is the flying ghost of Jerry. Jerry drives Tom... nearly bats.
