Cartoon Summary:

"In life you have to work for what you want," the wise old ant, Teetor, tells young Shando, one of his pupils. "Struggle, sacrifice, dedication- that's the only way you can grow." The only thing Shando wants to grow is his "kabump," because it would show that he's a grown-up ant. Unfortunately, the daydreaming Shando still has a lot of growing up to do. He wants to be a musician and knows he needs his kabump first, but he thinks he can fake it and still make it. Looks like he'll have to learn the hard way that shortcuts are the shortest path to failure. He'll also need to stick to a tough task before he can learn that hard work and persistence are what you need to succeed.
