A short cartoon about a boy who enjoys singing. Every day, he stands out in front of his house and sings to the mountains, and his echo bounces back to him. He even has his own special little song. One day, he goes to sing and the echo doesn't come back. Disappointed, Sparky decides to go ask his animal friends for help finding his voice. He asks the bear who quips about how a voice is hard to find because you can't see it, and isn't much help at all. He goes to ask the bullfrog, but when he gets to the frog pond, the bullfrog is singing his own song. Sparky comments on how nice a singer the bullfrog is and asks for his help. The bullfrog can't help either and asks him to ask the fish in the pond below. Sparky obliges and asks the fish for help. After saying "let me see" a few times, the fish isn't of any help either. Sparky decides to ask the wise old owl, and the wise old owl tells Sparky about the old man in the mountain and adds that the old man would probably know. Sparky runs off to ask the old man in the mountain where his voice is.
The old man in the mountain does indeed know, and tells Sparky that his voice got stuck in a cave which is blocked by a big boulder. The old man in the mountain removes the boulder, and Sparky's song is let free. Sparky goes back to singing happily once again.
