Cartoon Synopsis:

When a second, larger meteor threatens to destroy Acmetropolis, the Loonatics head into outer space to destroy it before it strikes. Along the way, each one has a flashback to their lives before the first meteor hit, and turned them into superheroes.

After they blow it up, an alien villain is revealed to be the cause of the cosmic calamities. He tells himself the third time will be the charm.
