Cartoon Synopsis:

The Professor offers money to the kids in his class to prove that the American Dragon does exist. Jake, Spud, and Trixie wonder how they can do it. Jake clips his dragon toe nails and some of his dragon scales to get the money, but Professor Rookwood desn't believe him. When Jake- as the dragon- is knocked out, Spud and Trixe stumble upon him and tie him up and turn him in to the Professor for the reward. When they realize they turned in their best friend, they hatch a plot to free Jake.
