Tempest the Amazon is getting soft- or so thinks her fierce mother, the scary Queen Hippolyte. ("Shop class- a nail went through your thumb- others saw you flinch.") Kidnapping Tempest back from Prometheus High, the Queen expects her daughter to undergo a savage initiation ceremony- spending the night clawing her way through the wilderness- to regain her status as a warrior and to earn the right to wear the Golden Girdle. Hercules, misunderstanding the deal, follows after her in a misguided attempt at rescue, and the two of them wind up learning to rely on each others strengths as they stumble through the wilderness together.
