Cartoon Synopsis:
Hippocrates, the father of medicine, comes to Athens and takes Hercules and Icarus on as assistants during a school internship week. Hades, fearing a successful doctor with a thriving practice will cut down on the number of dead people ("My business is dead people. If I have no dead people- my business is dead, People") tricks Hercules into spreading the plague throughout Athens- but when the good doctor comes up with a cure, thanks to Hercules' initiative and Icarus' optimism, Hades makes sure he falls ill. After all, the medicine has run out. Hercules and Phil journey to the Underworld to demand the return of the doctor in one of the most amusing scenes in the whole series, which closes with a desperate Hades begging them to take Hippocrates away (he's bringing the dead back to life) and coming up with a whole bunch of swell ideas- double billing, HMOs, no house calls, Wednesday golf...
