Synopsis for the TV Cartoon Joulupukki Ja Noitarumpu (Santa Claus And The Magic Drum , Santa And The Magic Drum)

Just a few days before Christmas, a rather sneezy Santa Claus is going through his mailbag, and he finds a letter from a lad called Rascal. But who is Rascal, and why was the letter postmarked 50 years ago? No sooner has this happened, when a strange sound rings out several times: "rum-tum-tum." It is heard again and again. Every time the sound rings out, some little accident happens to Santa. Nothing too serious, but someone is clearly trying to tease the old man. After much to-ing and fro-ing, Santa discovers that the Rascal who had sent him the letter was a shaman, a sorcerer.
