Cartoon Synopsis:
Mr. Doddler attracts Bradley and Stacy's attention when he has some difficulty with his laundry. The dryer has eaten one of Mr. D.'s socks. Isn't it always the way? In the course of defending Mr. Doddler from the killer sock-eating Dryer monster, Bradley manages to Super Slash soak all the dry clothes. As the clothes dry again, Stacy and Bradley ask their old friend about what it was like to do laundry when he was growing up. Guided by Bradley and Stacy's questions, Mr. Doddler tells the history of his life, which encompasses the history of creation. We travel through time from washing clothes on a rock in a river to walking miles through snow barefoot to school (before shoes were invented). Once there, making your own pencils. Until Mr. D. was 10 years old, there wasn't even color, and everything was black and white- no microwaves or video games. For fun, you'd listen to the sound of the ocean in a seashell. Back Mr. Doddler takes us through knights and dragons, pyramids, dinosaurs to a time of leglessness when Mr. D. wasn't much better than primordial soup. Until finally, the dawn of time and the big bang.
