Cartoon Synopsis:

Sally and Davey have a New Year's fight, and Sally runs away from home thinking that Davey doesn't love her. Davey earns the reward of ringing the church bell on New Year's Eve, but he embarks on a snowy adventure when he fails to heed the advice: Better to promise good things than to promise bad things to stop doing.
