A Brief Animated History:

Hugh Harmon and Rudy Ising, newly jobless as a result of the removal of Walt Disney from Oswald the Lucky Rabbit series, created Bosko the TalkInk Kid, a pilot made to sell the character and series under their own names. A year later the two teamed with Leon Schlesinger to released "Sinkin' in the Bathtub"- the very first Looney Tune cartoon, as well as Bosko's first-released cartoon.

After three years and 39 cartoons with Warner Bros., Harmon and Ising took Bosko and left for MGM and the Happy Harmonies series, one of the few characters to switch studios!
