Cartoon Summary:


Skeeter, a young Mississippi boy adopts a basenji (the only dog that can't bark), and names her My Lady. When she beats Alligator Ike's dog in a contest, the vengeful man holds boy and dog prisoner in the swamp. They escape, but then Skeeter finds out My Lady already has an owner. The man takes her away, but later returns with a puppy for Skeeter, who is now called Jonathan.
