Cartoon Summary:

Madeline, a little French orphan, and her friend Pepito, the son of a Spanish ambassador who lives next door, run off to join a circus with a band of traveling Gypsies. At first, they're having the time of their lives, but soon, they get homesick. The Gypsies who run it do not want them to leave, so the Gypsy mother sews them both into a lion costume. They try to run away in it, but everyone they meet is afraid of lions. Leave it to Miss Clavel to find the two children and bring them home.
