Cartoon Synopsis:

King Cuthbert is ruler of the magical Mirrored Kingdom and has the longest beard the world has ever known; twisting and curling down from his palace through the streets of his kingdom like a long hairy vine! Rufus the barber begins the story as a selfish young man, intent on making his fortune by chopping off The King's Beard and ends his journey by finding true happiness amongst new found friends.

But this is no straightforward path to enlightenment! In between, Rufus' life takes an unexpected twist when he finds himself lost within The King's Beard! There he discovers a world populated by a community of mice, including the highly theatrical JJ and immigrant mice Ronnie and Maddie, plus a weird and wonderful creature called a Babble- a furry little creatures that can say nothing for itself, but repeat everything it hears. Rufus also befriends Sophie, a young fairy whose health is failing fast following the loss of her magic wand.

Accompanied by the royal Wizard and an army of tiny mice, Rufus sets off to battle with King Cuthbert's evil twin brother, Jasper, and his Bat henchmen. Rufus' quest is now far bigger than he ever imagined, with the fate of the Mirrored Kingdom held quite literally in the balance.
