Synopsis for the Theatrical Cartoon Hare Splitter, Watch Video

Spring is in the air, and Bugs is sprucing up for a date with his girl Daisy Lou. Meanwhile, in the rabbit hole next door, a large, dopey rabbit, Casbah, is planning the same thing. Both rabbits emerge from the ground simultaneously. Bugs notices that his rival's bouquet is larger, so he goes back down and brings up a box of chocolates instead. Both compete for the best gift, with Casbah getting a heart-shaped box of bonbons and Bugs a diamond ring. Casbah produces a pearl necklace; Bugs, nylons. Casbah has a mink stole; Bugs, boxes of perfume. Bugs emerges with an anvil and bashes the dumb bunny. Bugs hops over to Daisy Lou's, but finds that she has gone shopping. This gives him a chance to dress up in her clothes and fool Casbah, who tries to make out with "Daisy Lou." "She" offers Casbah an explosive carrot, which blows out his teeth. Casbah wants to "pitch some woo," so Bugs complies with a kiss, using a suction cup and a mallet. Bugs disguises a dynamite ball as Daisy Lou's head. Casbah kisses it; it explodes, and he thinks she's a great kisser. Bugs disguises himself as Cupid and gets Casbah to bend over to receive his arrow. Finally, Casbah catches on and is going to sock Bugs, who asks, "You wouldn't hit a guy with glasses, would you?" Yes, he would. Casbah chases Bugs around the house just as Daisy Lou returns home. Thinking that she is Bugs in disguise, Casbah ambushes her. She screams and throws him out. Later, alone with Bugs, she allows him to get more romantic ("Your teeth are like pearls, real ones, no dime-store phonies!"). Daisy Lou tries an explosive carrot, they kiss, and the explosion in their kiss turns on both of them.
