Synopsis for the TV Cartoon The Show Must Go On, A Christmas In Mouseland

It's Christmas in Chipping Cheddar, and Angelina Ballerina, the "dance-struck" little mouseling, is auditioning for Miss Lilly's Christmas show, Cinderella Mouse and the Ugly Whiskers. The little ballerina is eager to dance the part of Cinderella, especially since the show will be performed for Queen Seraphina under the guidance of the legendary musical director Mr. Operatski. Though Angelina's the best dancer, she's nervous about singing in public and loses the title role to her rival, Priscilla Pinkpaws. Devastated, Angelina finds herself cast as the Wicked Stepmouse. She resigns in a fit of anger, leaving Miss Lilly to step into her ballet shoes as the Wicked Stepmouse. Disaster strikes when Angelina seeks revenge in a toboggan race with the Pinkpaws twins and accidentally injures the beloved Miss Lilly instead. Mr. Operatski resigns, and it seems that the show will have to be canceled. Determined to make amends, she sets out to persuade Mr. Operatski that the show must go on. A humble Angelina begs forgiveness and attempts to make up for her disappointing behavior. Not only does she save the show, but Angelina also plays the best stepmouse ever- and a star is born.
