Synopsis for the TV Cartoon The Adventure Of The Blue Carbuncle

Mr. Baker and Dr. Rider fight over a robot toy called the Blue Carbuncle at the Windygate toy store on Christmas Eve. Baker emerges from the store with it, but Fenwick comes to try to steal it. Lestrade arrives, but both men run away, leaving her in possession of Baker's hat and the toy, which she finds out comes with unruly behavior at no extra charge. Watson examines the hat and identifies it, and they go to Baker's house to try to return it, but they decide to give him a regular model, not the unique living one he lost. They catch up with Dr. Rider, its creator, at Windygate and talk to him about the toy, which they learned was created to have human intelligence. Moriarty comes and threatens them (because he thinks the toy could be part of an army), so Holmes gives him the toy, but the toy is so rebellious that he prevents the hovercar from leaving. The toy jumps out and is returned to its rightful owner, and Holmes is thankful to be with his friends on Christmas.
