Cartoon Summary:

Hearing that there was a microchip theft at Genie Tech laboratories, Holmes, Watson and Lestrade investigate the scene. They noticed reptile scales there, and Holmes and Watson go to the zoo to seek identification of the scales. Dr. Roylott and her father, Dr. Roylott, the herpetologists, say that they don't recognize the unusual scales. The elder Roylott points them in the direction of Chapman, a bioengineer who creates mythical animals. They go to Chapman's, and after the beastly greetings, find a floor plan of the Genie Tech company there. Genie Tech calls the detectives to say there has been another break in, but Chapman couldn't have done it because he was elsewhere at the time of the crime. They go back to the zoo, and Holmes tells the younger Dr. Roylott that her father was laundering funds by selling the chip to bioengineering companies. The elder Dr. Roylott turns into a snake and attacks Holmes, but Holmes falls into a cold pond (since snakes are cold-blooded) and exposes the real thief as well as the person who planted the floor plans at Chapman's.
