Cartoon Synopsis:
A fantasy version of Rip Van Winkle involving beer-guzzling leprechauns and other strange creatures. Rip Van Winkle is thrown out of his house by his shrew of a wife. After singing a refrain of "Nothing Worries Me," Rip stops to do some fishing and take that famous nap. In no time, he's attracted the attention of a forest full of singing, dancing and beer-drinking little people who perform the title song. When Rip wakes, he drinks some of the gnome's beer, shrinks to little people size, and is attacked by a menacing spider. Thankfully, he wakes just in time (about 30 years later). While not a faithful adaptation of the classic story, it's lots of goofy early Warner Bros. tune fun.
