Cartoon Synopsis:

Popeye wants to return to the time of cavemen, when men were men. Olive Oyl agrees, because she knows how the cavewomen treated their men. Popeye tells Olive the tale of how his family came to love spinach. The story is a flashback to caveman days and involves ancestors of Popeye and Brutus fighting over cavewoman Olive. "Prehysterical" Popeye woos his Olive with a club, fights and conquers Brutus, and even battles "dinasewers" to rescue her. He tries "spinach" because dinosaurs grew big eating it. Modern Olive likes club-technique romance. She smacks Popeye and drags him off.
