Cartoon Synopsis:

The big cross-country auto race is on between Popeye's jalopy and streamlined racer "Big Daddy," owned by Brutus. Popeye shows up late driving his antique. Olive Oyl is cheering for Popeye, but she also has eyes for Bluto and his fancy car. Popeye is lost in Brutus' dust and completely humbled by his tricks. When he finds his way, he's in a spinach patch. Popeye finally wins after squeezing spinach juice into his jalopy's gas tank.
