Cartoon Synopsis:

Brutus the strong man tries to steal Olive Oyl from Popeye while at the carnival. When Popeye promises to be a gentleman, Olive goes with him to the circus. While Brutus shows off for Olive, Popeye exposes him as a fraud. But trying to be a gentleman, Popeye avoids fighting Brutus until cornered. Olive feeds Popeye spinach, and things change for the best. The final scene is a subdued Brutus paddling Olive and Popeye through the "Tunnel of Love."
