Cartoon Synopsis:

Dr. Aki takes Ikki, Metabee, Erika, Brass and Karin on a tour of the Medabot Corporation. He believes that Ikki will benefit as a Medafighter by observing the construction of Medabots firsthand. Security at the corporation is tight, but it hasn't stopped Seaslug, an ex-Rubberobo Gang leader, from sneaking in disguised as an employee. He hopes to redeem himself to the gang by stealing a rare medal.

Metabee and the kids are disappointed that Dr. Aki won't let them into the restricted area of the Medabot Corporation. (He promised them an all-access tour.) To make it up to them, Dr. Aki takes the kids to the simulation room. Belzelga, a powerful new devil-type Medabot, is being tested there. Belzelga passes the test with flying colors: he's able to destroy an opponent with one punch.

Seaslug, meanwhile, falls head over heels in love with Miss Caviar, a fellow research employee. He momentarily questions his criminal lifestyle, deciding to leave the Rubberobo gang, and to start a new life with his new love. Just as he is about to ask Miss Caviar out, a misunderstanding takes place which leaves Seaslug feeling utterly spurned. He renews his evil ways, and he steals Belzelga, convinced that the experimental Medabot has a rare medal.

Meanwhile, Ikki realizes what Dr. Aki is hiding in the restricted area. It contains rare medals! Dr. Aki refuses to explain the secret of the rare medals to Ikki. Those who seek such knowledge, he explains, will find only death.

As it turns out, Seaslug was wrong: Belzelga does not have a rare medal. Furious, he commands Belzelga to robattle Metabee. Metabee sustains severe damage, but Brass and Neutranurse join him to defeat Belzelga.

Seaslug refuses to listen to Miss Caviar's explanation for their romantic misunderstanding. He flees with his fellow Robos, leaving Miss Caviar grieving over their romantic relationship that never was. Realizing that the Rubberobo Gang is getting closer to its goal of seizing a rare medal, Dr. Aki enlists the help of Phantom Renegade to protect the rare medals.
