Cartoon Synopsis:

Ikki's the only kid in school without a Medabot. He finds a rare Medabot medal in the river, but the only Medabot that he can afford to use it in is an old KBT-type, Metabee. Ikki is far too proud to buy this bargain-bin Medabot. But when his friend Erika is threatened by Metabot bandits, Ikki swallows his pride and buys Metabee. Ikki and Metabee easily defeat the bandits. But Ikki's triumph is soured when he realizes that Metabee is a disrespectful Medabot who won't take orders from anyone... especially his Medafighter Ikki!
