The Eternal Punishment Story Detail
Sisyphus is a man who, condemned by the Gods, has to push boulders up a slope and destroy them, only to have them reformed and rolled down. The Gods tell him that Ulysses will pass by soon, and suggest that he should take over the eternal punishment. When the group take pity on Sisyphus, his plan very nearly succeeds.
