So...there is someone else out there who remembers this animation! I can't remember anything about the cartoon except that the boy and his dog were being led down a large hole by a talking rock and the music (what ever it was) made enough of an impression...  (read more)

this thing aired, apparently in place of the Monkees, so it seems.

I remember it airing, and knew it wasn't supposed to be there. A boy and his dog met talking rocks, about four of them.
