Synopsis for the TV Cartoon A Friend In Wolf's Clothing

Serena continues to try to talk Molly away from Neflite. However, even though she now knows Maxfield is a pose, Molly loves him and won't desert him. Neflite concludes that the black crystal was drawn to Molly's powerful love for him. He also concludes that, since Sailor Moon is always saving her, Molly may know who she is. He calls her, trying to trick her into telling him, but she can't tell him what she doesn't know. After he hands up, she calls Serena and Neflite overhears. He sets a trap for Serena and when she reveals herself, he confronts her. Tuxedo Mask appears suddenly to defend Sailor Moon. Neflite, though, suddenly abandons the fight. He senses that Zoicite has sent three monsters to abduct Molly, seeking to trade her for the black crystal. Neflite confronts the monsters and rescues Molly, but is wounded by three metal rods in his shoulder that sap his life energy. Heedless of the danger to her, Molly tries to pull them out, enduring powerful shocks. Zoicite appears and takes the black crystal from the helpless Neflite, then orders her monsters to kill him and Molly. The Scouts arrive to dispatch the monsters. With his dying breath, Neflite confesses that Molly's love touched his heart and might have, in time, pulled him away from the evil of the Negaverse. Then he dies in Molly's arms.
